Form 1وَكَلَهُ إِلَى رَأْيِهِ2 senses · 1 main

1.1I left him to himself; I did not manage his affair, nor help him—وَكَلْتُهُ إِلَى نَفْسِهِ

He left him to his opinion, or judgment.

And وَكَلْتُهُ إِلَى نَفْسِهِ , aor. يَكِلُ , inf. n. وُكُولٌ , [I left him to himself;] I did not manage his affair, nor aid him. (Msb.) And كِلْنِى إِلَى كَذَا Leave thou me to manage such a thing. (TA.) وَكَلْتُهُ إِلَى دِينِهِ [I left him to his religion, not interfering with him therein]. (S, Msb, K, voce دَيَّنْتُهُ .)

These were the men to whom We gave the Book, and authority, and prophethood: if these (their descendants) reject them, Behold! We shall entrust their charge to a new people who reject them not.

32:11
قُلْ يَتَوَفَّىٰكُم مَّلَكُ ٱلْمَوْتِ ٱلَّذِى وُكِّلَ بِكُمْ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُمْ تُرْجَعُونَ

Say: "The Angel of Death, put in charge of you, will (duly) take your souls: then shall ye be brought back to your Lord."

وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

And put thy trust on the Exalted in Might, the Merciful,-
