حُنَفَآءَ لِلَّهِ غَيْرَ مُشْرِكِينَ بِهِۦ ۚ وَمَن يُشْرِكْ بِٱللَّهِ فَكَأَنَّمَا خَرَّ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ فَتَخْطَفُهُ ٱلطَّيْرُ أَوْ تَهْوِى بِهِ ٱلرِّيحُ فِى مَكَانٍ سَحِيقٍ

Being true in faith to Allah, and never assigning partners to Him: if anyone assigns partners to Allah, is as if he had fallen from heaven and been snatched up by birds, or the wind had swooped (like a bird on its prey) and thrown him into a far-distant place.

53:1
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَٱلنَّجْمِ إِذَا هَوَىٰ

By the Star when it goes down,-

53:53
وَٱلْمُؤْتَفِكَةَ أَهْوَىٰ

And He destroyed the Overthrown Cities (of Sodom and Gomorrah).

Without any lawful invitation to it; natural desire. Love, and desire; generally such as is not praiseworthy. I render it: love, or desirous love.

[The people of erroneous opinions]—أَهْلُ الأَهْوَآءِ

This is the plural.
