maṣdar نُضْجٌ and نَضْجٌ, or these are [properly] simple nouns and the maṣdar is نَضَجٌ.
It (fruit, الثَّمَرُ, in the CK التَّمْرُ, or dates, as grapes and dates, and flesh-meat, whether dried in the sun or roasted, [or cooked in any way]) reached a perfect state of fitness for use or for eating; it (fruit) became ripe, or mature; it (flesh-meat) became thoroughly cooked. See form 2.
