muḍāriʿـُيَفْعُلُmaṣdarنَصْرٌ
Core sense — he aided him against his enemy; he gave to him; it watered the landgenerated
1.1he aided him and strengthened him against his enemy—تَصَرَهُ عَلَى عَدُوِّهِ
He aided or assisted him — a person wronged or treated unjustly — against his enemy; he avenged him; he supplied his want, or part of it.; maṣdar نَصْرٌ and نُصْرَةٌ, or this last is a simple noun, and نُصُورٌ; but see the verse of Khidásh that follows.
Kidásh Ibn-Zuheyr says: [And if you complain of treachery from a friend, those requitals are its result and its avengers, or avengement]
shāhidفَإِنْ كُنْتَ تَشْكُو مِنْ خَلِيلٍ مَخَانَةًفتِلْكَ الجَوَازِى عَقْبُهَا وَنُصُورُهَا
Here نُصُور may be a plural of نَاصِرٌ, as شُهُودٌ is of شَاهِدٌ, or it may be a maṣdar, like دُخُولٌ and خُرُوجٌ.
Also مِنْ عَدُوِّهِ; maṣdar نَصْرٌ and نُصْرَةٌ, though this last, as said above, may be a simple noun. Said of God or of a man; and also: he avenged him of his enemy.
God made him victorious, so that he conquered or overcame—نَصَرَهُ ٱللّٰهُ
if you aid God's religion and his apostle, He will aid you against your enemy—إِنْ تَنْصُرُوا ٱللّٰهَ يَنْصُرْكُمْ
prevent your brother from wronging when he is a wronger, and aid him against his wronger when he is wronged—أُنْصُرْ أَخَاكَ ظَالِمَّا أَوْ مَظْلُومًا
he guarded, or preserved, him from him or it—نَصَرَهُ مِنْهُ
So in the Qur'ān 22:15, where the pronoun refers to Mohammad.
Qur'ān 47:8. Or: if you aid his servants, and the like; or if you keep his ordinances, aid his orders, comply with his commands, and shun what He has forbidden. (El-Basáïr.)
So a tradition is explained.
Maṣdar نَصْرٌ and نُصْرَةٌ, though the latter in this sense, like the cases mentioned above, may be a simple noun.

An Arab of the desert [in the A a beggar] accosted a people saying, أُنْصُرُونِى نَصَرَكُمُ ٱللّٰهُ , meaning, Give ye to me: may God give to you.
