He threw it where he would find it. (Er-Rághib.) And hence, conventionally, He threw it in any way: (Er-Rághib:) he threw it on the ground: (Mgh:) [he put it:] أَلْقَىْتُ انمَتَاعَ عَلَى الدَّابَّةِ I put the goods upon the beast.
