, (S, M, Msb, K,) and لَفَظَ بِهِ , (M, K,) aor. لَفِظَ , (S, M, Msb, K,) inf. n. لَفْظٌ ; (T, S, M, Msb;) and لَفِظَهُ , and لَفِظَ بِهِ , aor. لَفِظَ ; (Ibn- Abbád, K.) but the former is that which is commonly known; (TA;) He ejected it; cast it forth; [disgorged it;] (T, S, M, Msb, K;) namely a thing that was in his mouth; (T;) his spittle, &c.; (Msb;) from ( مِنْ ) his mouth. (S, TA.) And لَفَظَ alone, [elliptically,] He ejected what had entered between his teeth, of food. (TA.) You say also, لَفَظَتِ الحَيَّةُ سَمَّهَا [The serpent ejected its poison.] (TA.)
