(S.) اِنْقَطَعَ فِى حُجَّتِهِ [He was, or became, cut short, or stopped, in his argument, or plea]. (TA, art. بلس .) اِنْقَطَعَتْ قِرَآءَتُهُ is said when one is unable to perform [or continue] his recitation, or reading.
