One says also لَا يَعِيلُ أَحَدٌ عَلَى القَصْدِ, and لَا يَقُولُ, explained in art. عول (Yoo).
So in the saying مَا لَهُ مَالَ وَعَالَ, a form of imprecation; another explanation of it is given in art. عول.
[One following the right course] has not become poor [nor will he become poor]—مَا عَالَ مُقْتَصِدٌ وَلَا يَعِيلُ
Said in a tradition.
