This word and the headword mean the same. Kr says the latter is the only word of its measure except سِيَرَآء, but Kh mentions حِوَلَآء as well, and Ibn-Kuteybeh adds خِيَلَآء to these. [By analogy it seems to be عِنَبَآءُ, imperfectly declinable, with the feminine ء; but in a verse cited by F it is treated as masculine, and it is also treated as masculine in prose, in which case it is عِنَبَآءٌ, though this may be only by poetic licence, and is improper in prose.]
Called grapes only while fresh; when dry, they are called زَبِيب.
عِنَبَةٌ is a single berry of them [that is, a grape], and has a form that generally belongs to a plural, rarely to a singular. Its plural is أَعْنَابٌ, used in speaking of many, and the plural of paucity [that is, the plural of عِنَبَةٌ] is عِنَبَاتٌ.
MF [as from the K, where I do not find it; but it is used in this sense in the Qur'ān. Plural أَعْنَابٌ, which Bd explains as meaning كُرُوم in 18:31].)
And wine: so says AHn, who states that it belongs to the dialect of El-Yemen, just as خَمْرٌ means "grapes" in certain dialects [of El-Yemen: see خَمْرٌ].
