Golius, on the authority of the KL, gives it as the same as the Persian چكانيد: he made it drip, he sent it out drop by drop.

But from my copy of the KL it appears that this should be زهّق, for there I find تَزْهِيقٌ (not تَزْرِيقٌ) explained by the Persian چكانيدن. In that copy, however, another explanation follows immediately:

And: the shifting backwards of a camel's saddle from his back. So it seems that either تَزْرِيقٌ is left out there before this second explanation (see form 1, and see form 7), or else تَزْهِيقٌ is a mistake there for تَزْرِيقٌ.

Also sing. of الأَزَارِقَةُ , (TA,) which is the appellation of A certain sect of the [heretics, or schismatics, called] خَوَارِج , (S, K,) or حَرُورِيَّة ; (TA;) so called in relation to Náfi' Ibn-ElAzrak, (S, K,) who was [of the family] of EdDool Ibn-Haneefeh: (S:) they asserted that 'Alee committed an act of infidelity by submitting his case to arbitration, and that Ibn-Muljam's slaughter of him was just; and they pronounced the Companions [of the Prophet] to have been guilty of infidelity.
