Or with the lips, as also ترمّز, moving them with speech that is not made clear by utterance, not spoken aloud.
Or with the lip, or with the eyebrow, or with the eyebrows, or with the eye, or with the eyes, as also ترمّز.
the woman made a sign to him with her eye—رَمَزَتْهُ المَرْأَةُ بِعَيْنِهَا
[He talked to him by making signs &c.]—كَلَّمَهُ رَمْزًا
