Form 4اذعن لَهُ1 sense
maṣdarإِذْعَانٌ ذَعَنٌ

Core sense — he was quick in obedience to him; he submitted to himgenerated

4.1he obeyed me in the right I sought from him, and hastened to render itاذعن لِى بِحَقِّى

. He was, or became, quick in obedience to him, or it. Aboo-Is-hák: this is its [proper, or primary,] meaning in the language of the Arabs. Also: he acknowledged, or confessed, to him; he was, or became, lowly, or humble, and abject, to him; and he was, or became, tractable, submissive, or manageable, to him, and easy, not disobedient; as also ذَعِنَ.

And: he acknowledged my right to me willingly, not against his will; as also أَمْعَنَ.

Some have used إِذْعَانٌ as meaning perception and understanding, but there is no foundation for this in the language of the Arabs; and the attempt of some of the sheykhs to show that it is figurative is improbable.
