7.1the same—بَجَسَ
It (water) had a way, passage, vent, or channel opened for it to flow forth; it had vent; it poured forth; [it burst forth]; from a cloud or clouds, and from a spring, and from a rock. (Kur 7:160.)
Muḍāriʿ بَجُسَ and تبجّس. The first and the last are synonymous with اِنْفَجَرَ, or the last with تَفَجَّرَ [properly meaning it poured forth copiously].
the welling forth [of water] from a spring, in particular—اِنْبِجَاسٌ
cracking in a water-skin, or stone, or earth, so that water issues from it—بَجْسٌ
[The clouds pour with rain]—السَّحَابُ يَنْبَجِسُ بِالمَطَرِ
[He brought us crumbled bread moistened with broth, which streamed with seasoning]—يَتَبَجَّسُ أَتَانَا بِثَرِيدٍ
Or it has a general application.
Or يَتَبَجَّسُ أُدْمًا; meaning, by reason of the abundance of grease [in it].
