Muḍāriʿ اَزُزَ and اَزِزَ; maṣdar أَزِيزٌ, أَزٌّ and أَزَازٌ.
Or: it boiled; or it boiled violently. Also ائتزّت [written with the disjunctive alif اِيتَّزَّت]; and تأزّت, maṣdar تَأَزُّزٌ. Or all of these mean it boiled, but not violently.
[He used to pray, his inside making a sound like the sound of a boiling cooking-pot, from weeping]—كَانَ يُصَلِّى وَ لِجَوْفِهِ أَزِيز كَأَزِيزِ ٱلْمِرْجَلِ مِنَ ٱلْبُكَآءِ
Said of Moḥammad; from a tradition.
ازيز here means boiling, or the sound of boiling.

[In this instance the TA gives only one form of the muḍāriʿ, namely اَزِزَ, and only أَزٌّ and أَزِيزٌ as maṣdars.]

This is the maṣdar of the verb in this sense.

Maṣdar as above. It also means: he made the fire blaze beneath the cooking-pot.

So according to IDrd; but Ibráheem El-Harbee explains أَزٌّ only as the act of moving.

With عَلَى كَذَا: to do such a thing.
Do you not see that we have sent the devils against the unbelievers, strongly inciting them to acts of disobedience?—أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنّا أَرْسَلْنَا الشَّيَاطِينَ عَلَى الكَافِرِينَ تَؤُزُّهُمْ أَزَّا

Or, according to El-Harbee, أَزٌّ means inciting a man to do a thing by cunning and gentleness.
